App Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the OBAID DOCTRINE mobile application (the “App”). Please read them before using the App.

Effective date: 4 November 2026   •   Last updated: 4 November 2026

1. About the App and acceptance

OBAID DOCTRINE is an independent educational platform created by Obaid Mushtaq. The App provides educational material and features relating to psychology, human behaviour, relationships, family, self-awareness and related subjects. By installing, accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to accept these Terms under the laws that apply to you. Some App features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account, keep your sign-in details secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

You may browse any features that the App makes available without an account. Features that require sign-in will be identified in the App. We may apply reasonable security checks to protect accounts and the service.

3. Educational information only — not professional advice

All articles, explanations, questionnaires, self-reflection activities, tests, scores and other material in the App are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They are not a clinical assessment, psychological diagnosis, medical service, therapy, counselling or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

Mind tests and questionnaires are intended for learning and self-reflection. Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, results are not clinically validated, should not be treated as a diagnosis or definitive description of your personality, and should not be used alone to make medical, mental-health, relationship, employment, educational or other high-impact decisions.

Important: If you are concerned about your mental or physical health, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional. Do not use the App for emergencies or delay urgent help because of anything you read or receive in the App.

4. Permitted use and prohibited conduct

You may use the App for your personal, lawful and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

5. Content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the App's name, logo, design, original text, graphics and other original materials are owned by OBAID DOCTRINE or used with permission. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may view and use the material for personal learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display or commercially exploit protected material without permission, except to the extent allowed by applicable law.

Third-party names, marks, links and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Advertising and third-party services

The App is intended to be available without an upfront purchase price. It may display advertisements or use third-party services, including advertising, analytics, hosting, authentication or app-distribution providers. The availability and format of advertisements may change. Third-party services may process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

We do not control third-party advertisements, websites or services and are not responsible for their products, claims, content, availability or privacy practices. Any transaction or interaction you choose to have with an advertiser or third party is between you and that third party. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about data practices.

7. Availability, updates and changes

We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue all or part of the App, including individual features, for operational, security, legal or other reasonable reasons. We aim to keep the App available but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or compatible operation on every device. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device, operating system and internet connection. Your mobile or internet provider may charge data or other fees.

8. Account suspension and deletion

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the App, our systems or to address suspected misuse, security risks or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will take reasonable steps to explain the reason and allow an issue to be addressed.

You may request deletion of your account and associated account data using our Account Deletion page. Deletion may permanently remove access to account-protected features. Certain limited information may be retained where required by law or as explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared and retained in connection with the App and related services. It forms part of these Terms. Please read it before creating an account or using account-based features.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App and its content are provided on an “as available” and educational basis. We do not warrant that content will be complete, accurate, suitable for every person, uninterrupted or free from errors. We do not guarantee any particular personal, educational, psychological or relationship outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, OBAID DOCTRINE will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the App. This section does not limit liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for fraud or deliberate misconduct.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the App, our practices or legal requirements. The updated Terms will be published at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice where required. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Applicable law and consumer rights

These Terms are intended to operate subject to applicable laws. Mandatory consumer-protection rights and any mandatory rules of the country or region where you live remain unaffected. Where legally permitted, matters not governed by mandatory local rules will be interpreted under the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by a competent court or authority, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and consumer-protection rules that apply to you.
